USA Today is reporting this week that Bill Richardson is making a "big jump" in NH polls, and that Hillary's lead is narrowing.
This is a news agency in desperate need of a story. All the changes in the poll are within the margin of error. This means that there really is no change at all. The poll was only of 389 democratic voters in NH, so the margin of error was plus-or-minus 5 points. NH polls are typically under 700 in their sample size. This means a larger margin of error.
This Richardson surge is meaningless. Richardson is running to be vice president. If he was running to be president, he wouldn't be all things to all people.

I still am a believer that any kind of press is good press. He is getting his name out there and although this may not be a true story it still have people wondering about him.
