The SNL skit made its impact at the Democratic debate last week. Hillary always diffuses attacks with laughter. It's an effective trick. The problem is when she gets attacked a lot she has to laugh a lot, and it caught up with her in the SNL parody of her cackling maniacally. It was very funny.
Like Al Gore in 2000 with the SNL lock-box skit, Hillaryland made her sit down and watch it. The result? In the last debate she laughed a few times, sure, but not audibly. No noise came through the microphone. A good response to the parody. Hillary has to be more sensitive than your average candidate, because of her background and gender, to being made to look ridiculous. It's essential that she looks presidential and is taken seriously. All the nasty jokes and references to Bill are going to be there, and won't harm her. But there has to be a damper on her own quirks. The campaign responded effectively in this instance.

I think that if you laugh off bad judgements then you are just doing what every one else thinks you should. Since Hillary is in the position she is in, she can't fight back her critics.

I agree with kelly because if Hillary takes a stand to the critics then shes gonna have negative feedback which in turn will hurt her when voting comes. Obama was very slick with getting in the snl skit I think that actually helped him out and showed people that he has a sense of humor and isnt afraid to poke fun of his competition.
