Thompson tonight

The anticipation is high for tonight's Republican debate and Fred Thompson's announcement. Jay Cost has an interesting post on Thompson's campaign. He clears up the confusion regarding the claim that he's entering the race too late, namely, that the real problem is that the campaign has been poorly run, not that it's too late. I completely agree. But waiting to jump in the race is a symptom of the campaign's flaws. And the campaign's flaws comes from the candidate's flaws.
